Yesterday was an unforgettable day as I celebrated my second Master's degree graduation ceremony, receiving my Master of Education (M.Ed) degree. The ceremony was beyond special and magical, surrounded by the warmth and love of my family, friends, and loved ones. I'm incredibly grateful for all the support I've received on this journey - it wouldn't have been possible without you all. 🙏
A special thank you to my mom -- Diane Kenyon, my father -- William Kenyon, and my best friend --Derrick Toce, for picking me up and dusting me off when I felt like I hit unsurmountable roadblocks. Also, a shout out to my other best friend -- Andrew Lasher, for giving me a shoulder to lean on when I needed it. 🙏
I also want to thank my mentor, role model, and dear friend -- Dr. Lisa Lisa Coolidge Manley for starting me on this journey. I came to her after leaving StubHub looking for some part time work, and she opened my world to passions and possibilities I didn't even know exist. Thank YOU. 🙏
And lastly, thank YOU too, Kathy Link-Jensen. I came to your office one day at GU saying "I like this ID stuff, do you have any suggestions about how I can continue my education to go down this rabbit hole?" One conversation, one employer/career change, and three years later, Kathy, here we are now. Thank YOU. 🙏
And so, the next chapter of my life begins, my happily ever after begins now. And the adventure continues!
